Six of Wands

The Six of Wands talks about success, victory and public recognition. You have succeeded in achieving your goals, and now you get public  acknowledgement for your efforts. Maybe you have recently received an award, public acclaim or acknowledgement from your colegues for the work that you have done.

This offers you a high level of confidence in yourself and gives you the strength to continue your efforts.


This card indicates that you have used your strengths and talents to bring about a successful outcome of your efforts. You have passed the confusion of the Five of Wands, avoiding all the distractions. 


The Hermit

The Hermit is the card of inner recollection and retreat. You focus on your inner world in search of answers that define you. Now you realize that truth and understanding lie within your soul and you want to search them no matter what.

The Hermit card shows a time during wich you seek solitude and isolation. You need to be alone and away from the world.

Through meditation, contemplation and self-examination you can begin to re-evaluate your personal goals and go in a different direction.


Eight of Wands

Now you have the freedom and space to move forward with your plans and activities. The Eight of Wands is a card full of energy and dynamism, that propels you forward to reach your goals at a much faster pace than ever before. You will be very busy but enthusiastic and energetic about your progress.

The Eights talk about structure, while the Wands are about raw energy. Thus, the structure of the Eight creates a channel through which the raw energy can flow. This experience can be very productive, allowing you to accomplish a lot in short time.

With the Eight of Wands you can expect a rapid completion of a project that is currently underway but you can also expect that very soon to be occupied by something new and exciting.


Three of Pentacles

The Three of Pentacles, like the Threes in the other suits, represents the initial completion of a goal or plan. In this case, the Three implies the fulfilment and manifestation of a creative venture, business, or building project.

The message of the Three of Pentacles is one of encouragement. If you continue to work toward the fulfilment of your dreams and do not allow disillusionment to dampen your enthusiasm, ultimately you will experience prosperity and success in your goals.

The Three of Pentacles may also suggest that you need help to complete your work and can draw on the knowledge and experience of others. It may be beneficial to share your work with a partner but only if they are as conscientious as you. At the core of the Three of Pentacles is the notion of teamwork and collaboration. Effective planning, management and organisation are also key components of the Three of Pentacles.


The World

The World signifies completion, achievement and fulfilment. All of your efforts are finally paying off and you have reached the end of a journey or have completed a major life cycle. You have endured hardships and challenges along the way but these have only made you stronger and significantly wiser and more experienced than when you first started on your journey.

A long-term project, period of study, relationship, or career has come full circle and you are now feeling a sense of closure as well as achievemen.

It could represent a graduation, a marriage, the birth of a child, or the attainment of a long held. In this sense, the World card also heralds new beginnings that naturally emerge out of the completion cycle.


The Great Priestess

The Great Priestess represents the subconscious, the sensibility and the premonitions. It is the path to the mysterious truth, which is evading logical thinking.

It is an expression of goodness, forgiveness, patience and benevolence. The Great Priestess may also have a dark side of a witch, who uses her spiritual powers to seduce others and make them incapable of acting.

Traditionally, however, it is considered one of the three protective cards of theTarot. Usually her appearance in a spread shows that you need to listen and trust your inner voice.


Queen of Pentacles

The Queen of Pentacles is a very ‘motherly’ card, expressing practical energy. She is the original Earth Mother. She shows her love for others by cooking, cleaning, keeping a warm and inviting home and bringing in a decent income to support the family financially.

She is also able to work a full-time job, take care of the children, keep the house clean, and still have time to read the business section of the newspaper. She probably has her very own bank account or investment portfolio that nobody else knows about. She strives to create a warm and secure environment for her family and loved ones.

The Queen of Pentacles may represent a mother figure in your life who can provide you with loving support and nurturing to help you get through the influences of your past. She may be a teacher, a counsellor, a mentor, or someone who you are very close to. The card suggests that it is important to you that you are able to live independently, with a stable income and with enough time and space to also nurture your family and loved ones.


Knight of Pentacles

The Knight of Pentacles works in a very methodical and rigorous manner. Though his visions may not be earth-shattering, and his methods are certainly not original, the Knight of Pentacles sees that everything he undertakes will meet with nothing but success..

As a part of yourself, the Knight of Pentacles suggests that you need to be trustworthy, reliable and a good provider. You need to follow a routine to ensure that an important task or job is completed from start to finish at the standard expected. You are also fiercely loyal and prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the job gets done.

As an event, the Knight of Pentacles often shows a time when you will have to assume responsibility and take charge of a situation. You may be assigned a project or given a task to do, and you will have to commit your time to see that project through to the end successfully. With the Knight of Pentacles, you will be required to accept responsibility without any complaints or grudges.


Ace of Cups

This is a symbol of fulfilment, not just emotionally but also spiritually. You have the  opportunity for fulfilment.Whether you are going to reach out now and take up this opportunity will depend on how much you need emotional and spiritual fulfilment in your life right now.

The Ace of Cups represents the beginning of love, happiness and compassion. It can indicate the start of a new relationship, be it a friendship or a romance.

This card often means that love is the essence of the situation. It may or may not be romantic love. Look for ways in which you can begin to connect with others. Do you have someone to forgive, or do you want to ask for forgiveness? Can you set aside your anger and find peace? The Ace of Cups is also about creative expression, particularly where there is an opportunity to allow your emotions to shine through.


The Fool

The Fool is numbered 0, the number of unlimited potential, and does not actually have a specific place in the sequence of the Tarot cards. The Fool can be either at the beginning of the Major Arcana or at the end. The Major Arcana symbolizes the Fool’s journey through life  so he is the hero of this journey and therefore he doesn't need a number.

The Fool starts his life journey with an unlimited potential. The sun rising up behind him represents the beginning of his journey. He is facing north-west, the direction of the unknown. He is looking upwards, toward the sky, or Spirit. In his bag he has all the tools and resources he needs, but is he ready?. He carries a white rose in his left hand, that symbolise purity and innocence. A small white dog protects him throughout his journey and pushes him to learn the lessons of life.  The mountains behind the Fool represent the realms of Spirit that he has just left and will spend his life trying to regain.

Fool represents the need to embark in a new journey, one completely unknown and that will carry you to uncharted territories. The Fool is about new experiences, personal growth, development and adventure. The Fool lives a carefree life, free from worry and anxietyan he does not seem to mind if he does not know what the future holds for him.


Three of Wands

The Three of Wands indicates that your plans are now well underway and you are starting to consider even more opportunities to expand your current plans and maximise on the potential of your future. Everything is progressing steadily and as expected, thanks to your solid planning and ongoing motivation to persist.

The Three of Wands indicates opportunities to expand your horizons, through study, travel, business enterprise and learning. You need to become more aware of the opportunities that exist for you right now as there may be more than you are aware of. You may be more aware that your best opportunities lie outside of your current environment, so it is time to think BIG.

Similarly, this card is also about embracing change and adopting a longer-term view. It indicates you are in a position of strength as you control what happens around you. Thus, this is a card of vision and foresight and looking for greater possibilities.


The Emperor

The Emperor, the partner of the Empress, symbolizes the Masculine Principle and the Patriarch. He represents power and authority, and his stern attitude is quite different from the sensual beauty of the Empress.

This card is a symbol of experience and suggests that you or a person near you is worthy of listening to because he has seen the consequences of his actions.

The Emperor signifies determination, action, initiative and leadership. He offers structure and stability. This patriarchal character offers guidance, advice and wisdom to others, demonstrating authority and stability.
